      How can I fund my Cash Balance and what can it be used for?

      You can deposit funds to your Cash Balance via wire transfer.

      Funds stored in your Cash Balance can only be used to purchase bitcoin through Unchained. You can buy bitcoin using your Cash Balance, up to $5 million per trade.

      To fund your Cash Balance, navigate to Payment methods within your Unchained account and select the Cash Balance tab.
      Next, select the Deposit button to access the wire transfer instructions.

      Caution: Unchained does not currently support ACH deposits. Deposits must be made via wire transfer only. We recognize the limitations this presents and have made ACH integration a top priority. Please keep an eye on our updates page for information related to ACH functionality.

      Note: Include your Unchained ID in the memo field of your wire. Ensure the wire is sent from a bank account on file. Wires sent after 3:00 pm (CT) on a business day will be available within two business days.
