How do I refer someone to Unchained?
Unchained’s referral program lets you earn rewards for referring friends and family members.
When you refer someone, they can receive a discount on their first purchase. You can earn a referral reward after they complete their first eligible purchase and after a 30-day payment confirmation period.
How to refer someone
- Go to the Referrals page from your account menu.
- Choose whether to invite someone by name or use your general referral link.
- For a named invitation, review your referral display name and enter a label for the person you are inviting.
- Copy and share the referral link.
- Track your invitation status and reward activity from the Referrals page.
Note: Referring someone by name will create a Connection allowing you to optionally share keys or vault with that person. Either person can remove the Connection later without impacting referral rewards.

The referred person must complete a purchase using your referral link for the credit to be generated. Referral credits are granted after a 30-day confirmation period. Credits automatically apply to your next account renewal or upgrade, and they expire after 18 months if not used.
