How do I upload a key using my Jade?
Sign into your account, then click 'Keys' on the left to get started.
Keys are required to create vaults and loans. You will use a Jade hardware wallet to upload a key to your account.
What you'll need
- Your Jade hardware wallet with its USB cord
- A PC or Mac with USB ports to connect your hardware wallet
- An approved Unchained account
How to upload a Jade key to your account via USB.
Note: We do not yet support the QR code capability of Jade, but this is coming soon.
- Follow Blocksteam's guide to set up the device as new.
- Sign in to your Unchained account, click Keys on the left side menu, and Upload new key.
- Type a name for your key, select a key owner, and click Next.
- Choose Jade as your hardware wallet and click Next.
- Plug your Jade into the computer.
- Click Connect to Jade and enter your PIN on your Jade when prompted.
- Unchained will export your xpub. Click Create Key.
- That’s it! You can now use your key to create vaults and loans.
