      I deposited bitcoin using Caravan. Why is my vault balance incorrect?

      Caravan supports change addresses but not deposits.

      Caravan is intended for external recovery if you cannot access the Unchained website. If you send bitcoin using Caravan, your vault balance on the Unchained website will reflect that change. Unchained will recognize change addresses generated by Caravan.

      You should not deposit bitcoin using Caravan or any third-party wallet.

      The Unchained platform will not recognize deposit addresses generated by Caravan, Sparrow, Electrum, or other third-party wallets. Use the deposit address shown on your Unchained account.


      Caution: If you deposit funds using Caravan and your Unchained vault shows a discrepancy, then you must use Caravan to spend all of your funds back to the deposit address shown on your Unchained account.
