You may prevent future connections, but existing shared keys and vaults will remain.
We recommend informing your connection partner before you remove the connection. Removing a connection will prevent that person from creating new vaults with a shared key. Even if a connection is removed, the vault owner can still request key signatures from the key owner.
How to remove a connection:
- Sign in to your Unchained account and navigate to the Connections page on the left side menu.
- Click View next to the connection you want to remove.
- Click the trash can icon next to the account name and select Remove Connection.
Either party may share a new connection code to re-establish the connection.
