Sign into your account, then click 'Loans' on the left to get started.
Note: As of January 1, 2024, Unchained does not originate consumer loans and will only originate loans to entities (such as LLCs and corporations) with stated business/investment purposes.
What you'll need
- An approved Unchained account
- A key uploaded to your Unchained account
- A linked bank account
- Presence in our lending footprint
How to submit a loan application
- Sign in to your Unchained account, click Loans on the left side menu and New Loan.
- Type either the bitcoin amount you'd like to use as collateral OR the principal loan amount in USD and click Next.
- Note: origination fees are deducted from the principal loan amount, with the difference sent as the loan disbursement to the linked bank account.
- Select a start date within the next 10 calendar days and type in the requested term length in billing periods; click Next.
- Select the use of funds from the drop-down menu and click Next.
- Click the + to select a key to use with your loan and click Next.
- Note: If you cannot see one of your uploaded keys, you need to perform a key check first.
- Choose the linked bank account you wish to use for interest payments and select Auto ACH or Manual as the payment method.
- Choose the linked bank account you wish to use for the loan disbursement and click Next.
- Review your application for accuracy before clicking Submit.
- Unchained will respond via email for additional information regarding your loan application and next steps.
