If you miss a payment, you will have limited access to Unchained’s services.
Unchained fees are charged annually on a per-vault basis. Business and trust accounts are also billed per invited user. If you miss a payment, your bitcoin is still safe, and you still control your own keys. However, your account will be restricted until you pay the required amount.
Caution for clients with account-level billing: Some Unchained clients are grandfathered into an account-level billing plan and can create additional vaults at no cost. If this legacy plan lapses or is cancelled, clients will be switched to the standard vault-based pricing model after a short grace period.
All features, including Connections, will be temporarily disabled if an account-level payment lapses.
