How do I close my account?

Follow the steps below to remove an account from your profile.

Before closing your account, you must withdraw bitcoin from all of your vaults and close any active loans. We do not allow clients to close accounts with funded vaults or active loans. You may have multiple accounts with Unchained like personal, IRA, business, or trust accounts. Each account can be closed separately.

Before you close your account, we recommend that you save your financial information by downloading the following for your vaults:

Note: If you close an account, you can reapply for another account later, but you’ll have to complete the account application from the start. Your keys and vault information will not be saved.

How to close an account:

Sign in to your account.
Click User info then My accounts to see all of your accounts.
Select Manage account next to the account you want to close.
Confirm that you want to close the account. This action can not be undone.
