What does device registration mean?
Device registration allows your key to sign transactions.
After creating an Unchained vault, you must register the details of your multisig wallet with specific hardware wallets (currently Ledger and Coldcard). This means importing information about how the multisig wallet was constructed, so that the device has context for what it may be asked to sign.
The two devices we support that currently utilize this functionality are Ledger and Coldcard. Trezors can verify addresses and sign transactions without being registered.
