Our trading desk enables you to quickly buy bitcoin directly into your Unchained vault
Video Guide: How to buy and sell bitcoin
Follow these steps to complete a bitcoin purchase:
- First, please confirm onboarding status and ensure the Trading Desk has enabled trading for your account.
- Once approved, navigate to my.unchained.com and log in to your account.
- Click the Buy bitcoin button on the left side of the page.
- You can also use the Unchained mobile app by clicking Buy at the bottom screen menu

- Enter the amount you would like to purchase, denominated in USD or bitcoin, and select the vault destination from the drop-down, then click Preview buy.

- You will receive a live quote, refreshing every six seconds. Once ready to confirm the purchase, click Execute buy.

If the trade is successful, you will be presented with a confirmation screen and the ability to View wire instructions, which are necessary to satisfy the terms of the trade request.
If the trade occurs before 3:00 PM CT, we must receive the wire by the end of the business day, and after 3:00 PM CT, we must receive the wire the following business day. Wires must come from the bank listed in your Unchained account.
Caution: We only support settlement via wire transfer at this time. We will not automatically deduct funds from your bank account. Failure to wire funds may be subject to additional fees.
